This lineman's telephone of type "P. BL2. SMV. A", manufactured by AOIP in 1975 for the French national railway company (SNCF), is designed to support both magneto and buzzer calling. It can also be connected to an external battery.
The unit is marked with the letters "SES", which could suggest it was originally used at the Gare de Sens station.
Handset Design: Equipped with a mechanical microphone protection cover that automatically opens when the Push-To-Talk (PTT) button is engaged.
